Welcome to the multimedia platform Coaching People with Special Needs… if you are here it is because you are interested in many of the issues concerning the education and physical training of people with special needs in South Florida.

In our platform you can learn to use tools to explore new information and resources from our ever-expanding network of professionals. It consists of online “how to” audio/video segments and best-practices experiences for teachers, coaches, social workers, families, health and ESE professionals and anyone working with people with special needs. Everyone can access our platform on their desktop computers, tablets, smart TV, and mobile devices

The health emergency has presented numerous challenges for school districts across the country as teachers, students and families need to adapt to digital technology for remote on-line learning and learn how to maintain social contact with while navigating the changing local, state and federal guidelines. Serving students with special needs has added more challenges. Our resources can help teachers create virtual environments to introduce new learning content while providing feedback and conducting online assessments.

You will learn about the work of professionals dedicated to the well-being and social insertion of people with special needs and to change the way the world sees them. Each person with special needs is a universe in itself and an immense educational challenge. The work of all the experts contained in this site is focused on improving the relationship between body and mind. In our opinion, the five aspects of personal health are essential in the development of well-being and quality of life for people with special needs.

In our opinion, these five aspects are basic for building self-confidence, self-control, self-awareness, integration into the group and social acceptance; elements that promote well-being.

In this Site you will find free resources for families and teachers. Specialized Coaches share their personal experience and methodology working with people with diverse abilities. It is an extension of their work to facilitate transition of this population from school and family into mainstream society.
